Ingredients

  • Smoked arabiki pork sausage NH Foods

    1pack (275 g.)

  • Eggs

    4-5 eggs

  • Potato

    1 piece (cut into bite-sized pieces)

  • Carrot

    1 piece (cut into pieces)

  • Onion

    1 piece (cut into pieces)

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Japanese curry powder (instant cubes)

    1-2 tbsp.

  • Fujijin Seike (Japanese pickled vegetables, red)

    1-2 tbsp.

  • Japanese rice (cooked)

    2 cups

  • Black sesame seeds (for sprinkling on rice)

    1 teaspoon

  • Broccoli

    ¼ cup (cut into small pieces, for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Grill the Sausages: Grill the NH Foods Japanese-style arabiki sausages in a pan until crispy and aromatic. Then, remove the sausages and set them aside.
  2. Make Scrambled Eggs: Beat the eggs in a bowl until well combined, then pour them into the heated pan to make scrambled eggs. Stir gently until the eggs are cooked and smooth, then set aside.
  3. Stir-fry Vegetables: Add a little oil to the pan and stir-fry the carrots, potatoes, and chopped onions until they are cooked and soft.
  4. Make the Soup: Once the vegetables are cooked, add water to the pan to make the soup, then stir to combine.
  5. Add Curry Cubes: Add the instant curry cubes to the pan and stir until the cubes dissolve and the soup begins to thicken.
  6. Simmer to Combine: Simmer all the ingredients in the pan until it starts to boil and the curry sauce thickens.
  7. Serve: Serve by scooping cooked Japanese rice onto a plate, placing the scrambled eggs and grilled sausages on top of the rice, and then pouring the prepared curry sauce over it. Serve hot.
