Last Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Thai Nippon Foods Company Limited participated in the activity of offering candles during Buddhist Lent to 3 temples in the area of ​​Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, namely Wat Inthraram, Wat Mae Nang Pluem. and Wat Sam Wihan, the company participated in religious ceremonies, made merit, and offered candles during Buddhist Lent. The objective of this project is to preserve the good traditions and customs with the consciousness of participating in the preservation of Thai local culture and traditions for generations to come and to build good relationships between employees and the community.

“Buddhist Lent Day” falls on the waning moon day of the 8th lunar month, which is an important day in Buddhism that Thai Buddhists have inherited the tradition of making merit on Buddhist Lent Day for a long time. One of the traditions that have been passed down and continued is “offering candles for Buddhist Lent”.
